Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre, were some of the very first red grape varieties planted in the Barossa Valley and these low yielding, old dry grown bush vines survive today. Grenache provides softness and palate sweetness, the Shiraz brings opulence, richness and chocolate characters, whilst attractive peppery wildness is delivered by the Mourvèdre – together they harmonise to give a delicious red wine, so satisfying and easy to sip.
