The 2005 vintage is much more serious than its predecessors the fruit is fresher, still full of blackberry and plum fruit with hints of vanilla spice and coffee but in a more refined and elegant way. The palate is warm and rich with layers of lush spicy plum and cherry fruit, with an overlying atractive perfume. Rich, sweet tannins and a touch of chocolate on the finish.
