The quality of the fruit is abundantly clear and thats the main thrust of the wine. The nose is fresh and lively with aromas of cherry and red berry fruits along with chocolate, leather and tobacco. The palate shows ripe, black fruit and well-integrated oak. Clos dels Codols was produced from carefully selected grapes from mature vineyards in Montsant, next door to Priorato.
